It was a really tricky job which involved removing a hardwood floor and underfloor heating so the base floor could replaced by Damp proofing experts. Then insulate the new floor and reinstall the underfloor heating and engineered hardwood floor.
The team not only did a high quality job but were very flexible, adaptable and helpful when dealing with the hidden issues that arose during this complex process.
If I was to sum up the company I would say that "they care". I have no hesitation to recommend
We had part of an external wall removed and bifold doors put in, as well as a hatch put in between the living room and kitchen. We are really pleased with all the work and the result is fantastic. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. We had a small problem with the doors we only noticed afterwards and it was sorted really quickly. Will absolutely be using mendip renovations whenever we do more work on the house
The Mendip team prepared and plastered our three storey hallway/landing, including electrics, plumbing. They all did a brilliant job, with a high quality finish, prompt timekeeping, and sound advice.
We had our garage converted by Sean and his team and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, the whole process was smooth and professional. The team was reliable, communicated well throughout and completed the work to a high standard. The conversion has completely transformed the space and the finished area is just what we were looking for. Any questions or small adjustments were handled quickly and without fuss. We initially booked Shaun and his team for a garage conversion because they came across as knowledgeable, professional and personable. It's great to say that these traits were consistently demonstrated throughout the renovation, and we couldn't recommend the team (or their work) highly enough!
Shaun was great at managing the team around us and was very quick to communicate any concerns or discuss any changes that needed to be made to the original plan. All of the team completed very high-quality work and were friendly and respectful towards our family and neighbours throughout. All the jobs were organised to minimise disruption to us and the team frequently checked in to make sure we were happy with the work being completed.
We're incredibly happy with the quality of the conversion (which included a bathroom/cupboard removal, hallway renovation, bedroom conversion and installation of a new bathroom) and feel that the work blends well with the existing features of the house. We also appreciated Shaun's attention to detail in his visit after the conversion, as he quickly identified small concerns that he's booked in to resolve in a follow-up visit.
Ultimately, the work was completed on time, within budget and to a very high standard. We wouldn't think twice about hiring Shaun and his team again to complete any further work in the future.
